Ontario Bill 23, created by the Doug Ford Provincial Government, was passed by the Legislature on November 28, 2022, This is considered a “dangerous bill which, among other things, decimates the Greenbelt that I helped to create as your Member of Provincial Parliament and severely reduces local planning authority and funding for affordable housing.” — Councillor Mike Colle, Ward 8, Eglinton-Lawrence.

The Bloor West Food Bank serves our immediate neighbourhood. They are desperately low on non-perishable food and financial resources. They served 95 families at this time last year and are now serving 280 with approx 20 new families registering weekly. They are giving less and less each week to our clients as their numbers go up and food resources decrease.
