LPAT Support Office for residents closing in June 2019

LPAT's support office was to provide information for residents to appeal development applications.

The Government of Ontario has made a decision to close the Local Planning Appeal Support Centre (LPASC). LPASC has until June 30, 2019 to wind down the business.

Effective immediately, LPASC will no longer be accepting new requests for professional services from the public. During this wind down period, LPASC is committed to continuing to serve, to the best of its ability, those clients who have retained its services. LPASC staff will be in contact with those clients with further details shortly.

A heated discussion took place at City Hall about this issue and you can see it via the following link by starting at the 16 minute point of this YouTube video taken at the event.

If you have any questions, please send an email to info@lpasc.ca or call 1-800-993-8410.

Residents persist and win at Toronto Local Appeal Body (TLAB)

Svetlana and Dejan Bojic had a winning session in June 2017 where the Committee of Adjustment voted in their favour.

The Bojics then decided to go to the next level and submitted a Notice to Appeal to the Toronto Local Appeal Body on October 16. The Hearing was scheduled for March 3, 2018. This post shows what they did to win.
